TO THE NATIONAL WWII MUSEUM

The health and safety of our visitors, staff, and volunteers is the top priority of The National WWII Museum. To do our part to stop the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the Museum has enacted safety measures, including advanced online ticket purchases along with enhanced sanitizing and cleaning protocols.

Per current City of New Orleans guidelines, Museum visitors arenot required to wear masks or provide proof of vaccination. However, the CDC strongly encourages unvaccinated individuals to continue wearing a mask when indoors. Visit our Know Before You Go page for more details.

To help ensure public safety and avoid crowds, visitors are strongly encouraged to pre-purchase Museum admission tickets online in advance. Tickets are now available for advanced purchase.

Museum Exhibits and Museum Store
Open daily, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Closed Mardi Gras Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day.

Tickets are available in fifteen-minute windows. Prior to arrival, please purchase timed admission tickets online for the time you would like to visit. Please note that the Museum closes at 5 p.m., so visitors who make reservations for after 3 p.m. should expect an abbreviated visit. All ticket sales are final and no refunds offered. Tickets expire after their assigned date.

Shows start at the top of the hour and currently run at reduced capacity.

    The Museum's paid parking garage located at 1024 Magazine Street. This portion of Magazine Street is a one-way, and the garage is located on the left side. If full, there are several paid lots in the neighborhood not owned by the Museum with varying fees.

Behind The Lines
